Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Abstraite, 1990 Abstract Composition, 1990 by Serge Brignoni was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in May 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 6,250.00 (€ 5,016.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Serge Brignoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure Surréaliste Surrealist Figure in May 2008 with an auction result of CHF 39,400.00 (€ 24,285.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1990 Abstract Composition, 1990 von Serge Brignoni kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 6.250,00 (€ 5.016,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Brignoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figure Surréaliste Surrealist Figure im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 39.400,00 (€ 24.285,69).
