Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Seppo Mattinen for DKK 1,050.00 (€ 140.85). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Seppo Mattinen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition with a woman in December this year with an auction result of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Seppo Mattinen für DKK 1.050,00 (€ 140,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seppo Mattinen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition with a woman im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,30).
