In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Composition with a woman by Seppo Mattinen. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 6,500.00 (€ 870.93), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Seppo Mattinen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition with a woman sold at auction in December this year with the realized price of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition with a woman von Seppo Mattinen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 870,93) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Seppo Mattinen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition with a woman im Dezember diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,30).
