Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 456.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Seppo Mattinen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition with a woman, which sold at auction in December this year for DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figure composition von Seppo Mattinen wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 456,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Seppo Mattinen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition with a woman beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,30) versteigert wurde.
