Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Sunset in the Winter Forest by Simeon Fedorovich Fedorov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,876.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simeon Fedorovich Fedorov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer Woodland Scene, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 30,965.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunset in the Winter Forest von Simeon Fedorovich Fedorov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.876,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Simeon Fedorovich Fedorov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Summer Woodland Scene beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 30.965,71) versteigert wurde.
