Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Small Tree #6 by Byun Sehee was sold in the Cherry PickedModern & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 5,100.00 (€ 663.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,000.00 – 5,500.00. Admittedly, works by Byun Sehee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work My Friend #20 in May this year with an auction result of HKD 28,160.00 (€ 3,375.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Small Tree #6 von Byun Sehee wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Cherry PickedModern & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.100,00 (€ 663,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.000,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Byun Sehee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit My Friend #20 im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.160,00 (€ 3.375,29).
