A top price for Byun Sehee
The work My Friend #20 by Byun Sehee was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 26,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 28,160.00 (€ 3,375.29). With this result, My Friend #20 is even the most expensive work of art by Byun Sehee that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit My Friend #20 von Byun Sehee wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 26.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 28.160,00 (€ 3.375,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist My Friend #20 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Byun Sehee, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
