It achieved a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 946.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Admittedly, works by Seff Weidl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Säulenplastik in September 2002 with an auction result of EUR 9,200.00.

Die Arbeit Crouching Figure; And A Companion Figure von Seff Weidl kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 946,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seff Weidl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Säulenplastik im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.200,00.
