Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work A Wisent by Seff Weidl for USD 500.00 (€ 344.28). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seff Weidl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Säulenplastik in September 2002 with an auction result of EUR 9,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Wisent von Seff Weidl für USD 500,00 (€ 344,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Seff Weidl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Säulenplastik im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.200,00.
