Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work La Vierge À L'Enfant by Sebastiano Conca. The price achieved of EUR 3,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sebastiano Conca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of George Parker, 2nd Earl of Macclesfield, PRS, three-quarter-length, standing in front of the Colosseum, right hand resting on a map of Italy, a statue of the Apollo Belvedere on a giltwood and marble table in December last year with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 426,725.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Vierge À L'Enfant von Sebastiano Conca zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sebastiano Conca erzielen.
