This artwork by Scott Kahn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in December this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale auction, the work Peruvian Pot sold for GBP 17,920.00 (€ 20,643.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scott Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work BIG HOUSE, HOMAGE TO AMERICA in May last year with an auction result of HKD 11,250,000.00 (€ 1,335,616.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Scott Kahn erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Peruvian Pot für GBP 17.920,00 (€ 20.643,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scott Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit BIG HOUSE, HOMAGE TO AMERICA im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.250.000,00 (€ 1.335.616,44).
