Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cabine sul Tevere by Scipione Vannutelli. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 625.00 (€ 790.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Scipione Vannutelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Allegory of Peace, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,803.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cabine sul Tevere von Scipione Vannutelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 625,00 (€ 790,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Scipione Vannutelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Allegory of Peace beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.803,40) versteigert wurde.
