In June 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The Dog Sale, which included the work A Spaniel In A Landscape by Sawrey Gilpin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 84,000.00 (€ 62,130.18), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Sawrey Gilpin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 118,321.86) in November 2007 for the work Hawking.

Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Dog Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Spaniel In A Landscape von Sawrey Gilpin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 62.130,18) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Sawrey Gilpin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 118.321,86) im November 2007 für die Arbeit Hawking beobachtet.
