Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Old Cortesan by Saul Baizerman for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,239.74). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Saul Baizerman have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2006 by the work Self-Portrait at USD 5,400.00 (€ 4,221.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Old Cortesan von Saul Baizerman für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.239,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Saul Baizerman wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im August 2006 die Arbeit Self-Portrait mit USD 5.400,00 (€ 4.221,06).
