Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Garden (Mulberry Lodge) (V) by Sarah Jones was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,078.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dining Room I-III in October 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,393.83).

Die Arbeit The Garden (Mulberry Lodge) (V) von Sarah Jones wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.078,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sarah Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dining Room I-III im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.393,83).
