Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dining Room (Francis Place) I-III by Sarah Jones was sold in the CONTEMPORARY ART (DAY SALE) auction at Christies in London in February 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,546.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sarah Jones have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2001 the work The Dining Room I-III was auctioned for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,393.83).

Die Arbeit Dining Room (Francis Place) I-III von Sarah Jones wurde im Februar 2002 in der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART (DAY SALE) bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.546,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
