Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coco by Sara Pope was sold in the Pop X Culture auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,411.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Sara Pope have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Decadence (Pink) in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,477.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coco von Sara Pope wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Pop X Culture bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.411,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sara Pope auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Decadence (Pink) im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.477,23).
