Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Gesù Alla Croce by Sante Monachesi for EUR 1,240.00. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sante Monachesi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Futurista, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 4,096.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gesù Alla Croce von Sante Monachesi für EUR 1.240,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sante Monachesi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Futurista beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 4.096,00 versteigert wurde.
