It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,429.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sándor Bortnyik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Motoros in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 168,250.00.

Die Arbeit Hungarian Untitled, From The 'Ma' Album von Sándor Bortnyik wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.429,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sándor Bortnyik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Motoros im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.250,00.
