The work The Visitation by Samuel van Hoogstraten was worth GBP 28,750.00 (€ 32,994.93) to a buyer in July 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Drawings Including Property from the Descendants of Walter Brandt at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Samuel van Hoogstraten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Crucifixion in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 319,000.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings Including Property from the Descendants of Walter Brandt bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
