Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 17.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon Leonardus Verveer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
