Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included the work Iman's Mother by Samira Alikhanzadeh. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,356.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Samira Alikhanzadeh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work Self-portrait (triptych) was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iman's Mother von Samira Alikhanzadeh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.356,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Samira Alikhanzadeh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2008 die Arbeit Self-portrait (triptych) für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.763,16) versteigert.
