Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Body And Self by Samira Abbassy for GBP 60.00 (€ 88.15). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 200.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Samira Abbassy have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2019 by the work Into The Night at GBP 127.50 (€ 143.33).
