Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast, which included the work Animal Portrait by Sambypen. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,844.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Sambypen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2020 the work Pool Party was auctioned for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,536.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast durch, in der auch die Arbeit Animal Portrait von Sambypen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.844,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sambypen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2020 die Arbeit Pool Party für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 23.536,10) versteigert.
