This artwork by Sam Taylor-Johnson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in July 2021. In the New Now auction, the work W sold for GBP 882.00 (€ 1,034.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Taylor-Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After Van Halen in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 88,000.00 (€ 57,944.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sam Taylor-Johnson erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit W für GBP 882,00 (€ 1.034,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Taylor-Johnson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After Van Halen im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.000,00 (€ 57.944,29).
