Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Wilderness Study #18 by Sam Reveles was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. It achieved a price of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,962.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sam Reveles - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fatherless Eurotas, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,639.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wilderness Study #18 von Sam Reveles kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.962,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sam Reveles mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fatherless Eurotas beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.639,72) versteigert wurde.
