Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Prince Umberto of Italy; Brigadier Miles Graham, A & Q Eighth Army; C.S.O. Fullbrook-Leggatt, Area Commander in Tunis; Lieutenant General Sir Charles Allfrey, K.B.E., C.B., D.S.O., M.C., Commander of V Corps in North Africa and 43rd Division in Norma by Sam Morse Brown was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, of which not even th Admittedly, works by Sam Morse Brown have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The crucifixion of humanity in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 8,030.14).

Fullbrook-Leggatt, Area Commander in Tunis; Lieutenant General Sir Charles Allfrey, K.B.E., C.B., D.S.O., M.C., Commander of V Corps in North Africa and 43rd Division in Norma von Sam Morse Brown im August 2006 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
