Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Utah Patchwork by Sam Hyde Harris was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The price achieved of USD 5,737.50 (€ 4,862.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Hyde Harris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Quinta Wash in August last year with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 20,268.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Utah Patchwork von Sam Hyde Harris kam im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.737,50 (€ 4.862,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Hyde Harris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Quinta Wash im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 20.268,26).
