Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work At the Edge (of the shore, Laguna Beach) by Sam Hyde Harris. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,351.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Hyde Harris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Quinta Wash in August last year with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 20,268.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit At the Edge (of the shore, Laguna Beach) von Sam Hyde Harris zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.351,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Hyde Harris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Quinta Wash im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 20.268,26).
