Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work UNTITLED (LILY) by Sam Falls. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,841.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Falls achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Every Season, All Weather in November last year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 48,823.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit UNTITLED (LILY) von Sam Falls zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.841,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Falls erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Every Season, All Weather im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 48.823,02).
