The work Annunciation by Sam Doyle was sold in the Outsider Art auction at Christies in New York in February last year. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,454.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Doyle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I'll Hit You Man in January this year with an auction result of USD 45,360.00 (€ 41,775.65).

Die Arbeit Annunciation von Sam Doyle wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Outsider Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.454,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Doyle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I'll Hit You Man im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.360,00 (€ 41.775,65).
