Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Bivacco by Salvatore Mazza for EUR 1,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,600.00 – 1,700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvatore Mazza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milano, 18 marzo 1848, l'inizio della Rivoluzione delle 5 giornate in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 32,960.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bivacco von Salvatore Mazza für EUR 1.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.600,00 – 1.700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Mazza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Milano, 18 marzo 1848, l'inizio della Rivoluzione delle 5 giornate im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.960,00.
