Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Christies in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Senza titolo by Salvatore Fiume. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,150.00 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvatore Fiume - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cavalli di pietra, which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Salvatore Fiume zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.150,00 und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
