The work Messico by Salvatore Fiume was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in June 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,200.00 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Salvatore Fiume have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cavalli di pietra in May this year with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.

Die Arbeit Messico von Salvatore Fiume wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.200,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
