Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Salvador Corratgé was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,812.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Salvador Corratgé have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work without title was auctioned for USD 43,750.00 (€ 41,359.43).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Salvador Corratgé kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.812,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
