Admittedly, works by Salomon van Ruysdael have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,725,420.73).
