It achieved a price of USD 478,800.00 (€ 394,561.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Admittedly, works by Salomon van Ruysdael have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,725,420.73).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 478.800,00 (€ 394.561,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon van Ruysdael auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.725.420,73).
