Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A panoramic landscape with a hunter at rest by Salomon van Ruysdael was sold in the The Martin Feldstein Collection: Dutch Art in the Golden Age auction at Christies in New York in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 250,000.00 (€ 214,647.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salomon van Ruysdael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,725,420.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A panoramic landscape with a hunter at rest von Salomon van Ruysdael wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion The Martin Feldstein Collection: Dutch Art in the Golden Age bei Christies in New York versteigert.
