The price achieved of USD 250,000.00 (€ 214,647.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salomon van Ruysdael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,725,420.73).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 214.647,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salomon van Ruysdael erzielen.
