Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Fishermen And Resting Figures In A River Landscape by Salomon Leonardus Verveer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 12,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Salomon Leonardus Verveer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishermen And Resting Figures In A River Landscape von Salomon Leonardus Verveer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 12.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon Leonardus Verveer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
