Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures in the dunes of Scheveningen by Salomon Leonardus Verveer was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2009. The price achieved of EUR 10,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Salomon Leonardus Verveer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures in the dunes of Scheveningen von Salomon Leonardus Verveer kam im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon Leonardus Verveer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
