Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Saliba Douaihy was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,941.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Saliba Douaihy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 336,500.00 (€ 288,346.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Saliba Douaihy kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.941,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Saliba Douaihy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.500,00 (€ 288.346,19).
