Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Junk at Low Tide, 1963 by Sali Herman was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of AUD 18,450.00 (€ 11,058.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sali Herman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Railway Station, 1947 in April this year with an auction result of AUD 73,800.00 (€ 44,233.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Junk at Low Tide, 1963 von Sali Herman kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 18.450,00 (€ 11.058,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sali Herman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Railway Station, 1947 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 73.800,00 (€ 44.233,21).
