This artwork by Salah Taher achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,104.54) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Salah Taher; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Metaphysic sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,533.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Salah Taher erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.104,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Salah Taher; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Metaphysic im März 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.533,80).
