Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Abstract Composition by Salah Taher for GBP 357.00 (€ 421.93). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salah Taher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Metaphysic in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,533.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Salah Taher für GBP 357,00 (€ 421,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salah Taher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Metaphysic im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.533,80).
