Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with daffodils in a vase by Sal Meijer was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sal Meijer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aan den Omval, Amsterdam in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with daffodils in a vase von Sal Meijer kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sal Meijer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aan den Omval, Amsterdam im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
