It achieved a price of GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,946.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Kiyoshi Saito have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Showa era (1926-1989) in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,467.70).

Die Arbeit Showa era (1926-1989), dated 1960 von Kiyoshi Saito wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Tradition Travel TransitionJapanese Art across the Centuries bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.946,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%.
