Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Tradition Travel TransitionJapanese Art across the Centuries, which included the work Showa era (1926-1989), dated 1960 by Kiyoshi Saito. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,496.97). Admittedly, works by Kiyoshi Saito have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Showa era (1926-1989) in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,467.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Tradition Travel TransitionJapanese Art across the Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Showa era (1926-1989), dated 1960 von Kiyoshi Saito zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.496,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kiyoshi Saito auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Showa era (1926-1989) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 11.467,70).
