Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Showa era (1926-1989), 1960s by Kiyoshi Saito for USD 765.00 (€ 625.51). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese & Japanese Works of Art Part II at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kiyoshi Saito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Showa era (1926-1989) in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,467.70).
