This artwork by Safwan Dahoul achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2014. In the Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art auction, the work Rêve sold for USD 257,000.00 (€ 205,107.74) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. This high result makes Rêve the most expensive artwork by Safwan Dahoul that we have observed at auctions so far.
