In October 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II, which included the work Believe 1 by Saeed Khalifa. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,302.00), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Saeed Khalifa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,669.36) in April 2012 for the work The Virgin.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Believe 1 von Saeed Khalifa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.302,00) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Saeed Khalifa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.669,36) im April 2012 für die Arbeit The Virgin beobachtet.
