Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Two Circus Acrobats by Sadequain was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2021. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,005.82), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sadequain have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Qalandar in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 154,990.15).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Two Circus Acrobats von Sadequain kam im April 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.005,82) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sadequain auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Qalandar im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 154.990,15).
